For Hellseher
Ben was alive and feeling amazing. He had jumped off a building with Klaus's encouragement (Okay so Klaus said NOT to after he did it, but oh well) and ever since Ben had been looking for something else to give him that same kind of rush. Looking to live a little.
Some how that was how they ended up at Club 24, a 24 hour open club, bar, eatery, and what ever the hell else they could cram into the place. It was perfect. Dark with a lot of neon lights on the dance floors, the bar was well places to be off to the side and the music was jumping, giving the night life something fun to dance to.
Ben had never been to a club while alive, and only there when Klaus went, which generally meant the other wasn't all that sober, so enjoying a club? Not really a thing. But now Ben was alive and he could FEEL the bump of the music in his chest. He could understand the need to dance now. He even agreed to drink with Klaus tonight.
Ben had got a simple rum and coke to start the night off, but Klaus poopoo'ed that almost instantly. Not only was a round of shots ordered for them both, but it was a ROW.
"Klaus, I'm not going to be able to get through all this!" he said loud enough to be heard, brows raised and looking over the row curiously. He'd never allowed himself to be drunk before. Was he really going to do it now?

And yet as he watches the other pluck gummy fish out of the bowl, Ben leans in to stab one with a straw and eat it as well. "Oh." he said to what was in it. "That's worse than shots, isn't it? God, Klaus, God." he had nothing more to say than that, really. He sucked on a finger to clean the alcoholic gummy slime off. A soft Hmm given to the admirers comment.
He glanced over and watched two girls sipping on their own colorful drinks, giggling at the boys, waving fingers at them. Ben looked away and back to Klaus, eyes wide a moment then... "We should d-dance more. Or get ... get... a-another drink..." his panicked comment to being watched by anyone. Not a good reaction, really.

As soon as Ben looks over, Klaus sneaks another glance of his own, eyes widening with surprise when the other male turns back to him, looking like he'sβ Well, awful as it is to make the joke: like he's seen a ghost. "Hey, it's okay," he reassures, reaching his unoccupied hand to gingerly squeeze Ben's wrist. "Here." Passing the lime slice between his fingers to his brother, he waits until it's taken, offers the girls a wink and waves back before tugging at Ben's sleeve.
"Come on, let's get back out there." Because if they order anymore drinks, he isn't certain he'll be able to get them home without a few problems here or there. That, and this gives him a reason to show off a little, even if he's already blowing kisses toward the girls to distract them as he's leading Ben back to the dance floor.

It's okay. Eat a lime slice. At least that's what he assumed it was for. He chewed on the soaked lime slice a moment and nodded. It was okay. Then he was tugged to go back to the dance floor. He left the rest of the slice in the bowl and let Klaus pull him along. "Dancing is good."
And Klaus is blowing kisses across the floor to the girls and Ben is chuckling, blushing once again, but chuckling none the less. Okay, so it wasn't so bad, and they were no doubt watching Klaus anyhow.
This time around he took no guidance for him to start dancing, and though it's not the best, he's not bad. For a newb. And give them exactly one song, before those two girls are slipping in to dance with the two of them. And not just Klaus. Both of them. And look at Ben not shying away! Liquid confidence works every time.
no subject
Before they get too far, he makes sure to grab another slice for himself that he eats whole (rind and all) while he's guiding them past people for a second time. "Sure is. It's a good way to work off some of the alcohol, too." Which they're definitely going to need to do.
They are, of course, and seeing Ben laugh β despite his reddening face β makes Klaus feel like he's doing something right. So long as Ben is having a good time, that's all that matters.
And once their company from the bar decides to join them, he can't help smiling at how easily the four of them fall into step, like they've been doing this for hours. His attention lingers on Ben; subtly though, that way his newly gained dancing partner won't question it (she's three sheets to the wind herself). He just wants to be certain he can extricate them both in case Ben suddenly starts feeling more self-conscious, however his brother looks the exact opposite at the moment.
no subject
"Seems counter productive, to ingest that much alcohol and... and, uh... burn it off a moment later." Still a nerd. But a happy nerd. He was indeed having fun. And as the girls join him, he doesn't seem to mind at all. The four of them dance well together, and the red head has all her attention on Ben and Ben doesn't seem to mind at all.
he glances over at Klaus once in a while, and flashes a big grin, only to have a hand tilt his face back towards her. Attention grabbed. You might have lost your brother for a little bit, Klaus. These girls were three sheets to the wind and high as a kite and Ben didn't seem to mind at all now.
no subject
"Shhh. Stop trying to answer things with logical sentences." Just accept the fact he's attempting to keep them moving, make sure the blood keeps flowing or else they'll both be stumbling most of the way home. Here's hoping they won't wake anybody once they've gone back that way, but that's the last thing on his mind now.
He's smiling reassuringly in return, snickering once the redhead recaptures Ben's attention, directing his own gaze back to the girl in front of him. She's cute-- like, really cute and super blonde andβ oh. Oh, that's... absolutely a pill she's offering him with her tongue. It takes everything in him to not immediately swipe it; he reminds himself at least three times over that he can't (for Ben's sake), shakes his head then tells her something along the lines of next time. She seems satisfied with this answer, didn't even look offended when he'd said 'no,' so Klaus will take that as a win.

Ben already knows this is disastrous, and that they are waking the entire house when they get in. It's his nightmare. He just knows it's going to happen. He doesn't want it to> But he's preparing to face the others in the house with a sad drunken face of apology. Maybe Klaus can get them in silently, but he's ready for his shame.
Meanwhile Ben is completely captivated by the red head, who is dancing far too close and offering him something as well. With her tongue. Before he could object, she kissed him, and well, he kissed her back, taking the little hit off this as well. He wasn't at all focused on that though. The hit that is. No, he was more interested in kissing the really hot red head dancing with him.
It's not exactly what he expected his first kiss to be like, but honestly, it was hot and he was too drunk to care at all. If Klaus didn't keep a good eye on him, the two of them might slip off to the side of the dance floor, near the walls and make out for a bit. Ben was absolutely going to let this girl lead the way around. Buhbye bro.
no subject
When his gaze finds Ben again, it's right as the other girl is leaning to kiss him, which causes Klaus's eyes to widen then he lets out an oh-so-eloquent, "Holy shit," before his own partner swings them in a tight circle, drawing his attention once more. He laughs, wholehearted and genuine, allowing the spin to take them both, but as he's coming back around is the moment he realizes he's suddenly lost track of Ben.
His immediate reaction: panic. Following the abrupt increase of his heart-rate, he feels his stomach roll, tastes bile filling his mouth, is only drawn back to the moment by an arm looping around his shoulders. She's asking him a question he can't quite hear, yet he shakes his head anyhow, cups her face in both his hands and plants a kiss near the corner of her mouth. "M'sorry," he mumbles, taps a thumb against her cheek.
Then, he seizes his moment when someone nearby bumps into them, guiding the fair-haired girl into the arms of the fellow that bounces by. It feels bad, just kinda ditching her like so, but he has to hunt his brother down in case he ends up getting into trouble.
no subject
Ben totally scored though, in more ways than one. He could feel it hit his tongue, and at first he had jerked back, but then she was kissing him again and their tongues intertwined and he was just kind of sold on it.
He let her guide them to the side and to a wall, where they were out of the way of the dancing and no one cared. He was lost in the moment, feeling kind of freed and reckless. That same rush hitting him as the Jump did. Ben was a good boy, he never did things like this, but here he was indulging.
He wasn't sure how long they stood there, but his hair was a mess and he could taste cherry lipstick on his lips. When she pulled away she booped his nose wit ha "You're cute, but I need to go find my boyfriend now." Winked and left him standing there, heart thudding in his chest, mouth partly open. What just happened?
no subject
He's bobbing and weaving between other people in the crowd, frantically searching with an unfocused gaze for his brother, though to no avail, it would seem. The rising agitation has him trembling by the time he breaks away from the mass of bodies, widened eyes darting every which way, his concern made even more evident when he starts asking people nearby about seeing the other male. Some have, though they can't give him clear directions while inebriated as they are, so he abandons that idea.
It's on his way to the bar for another round of shots to calm his nerves when he spots Ben, exhales a heavy, yet relieved sigh and abandons his drinks to go rushing toward him. "Ben! Ben!" he shouts, shouldering past a couple without so much as an apology, letting out an undignified yelp once someone catches his arm. "Get off me," comes out in a growl, his other hand reaching to shove at the far larger man's face.
This is... probably not going to end well? But he found Ben, saw that he's okay for the time being, and that fixes one problem.
no subject
Bouncing up on his toes he was looking around for Klaus now. "Klaus!?" He called out, and just then saw him and a big guy. Why was he shoving the big guy.
For a moment Ben ruffles. How dare someone lay a hand on his brother like that! And he wavers, pushing past someone to get closer. Just as the big guy seemed to almost push back, Ben swooped in, looking his arms around Klaus and pulling him backwards into him. His arms looped around his middle and leaning into him. "Found you! I found him!" He said to the big guy, grinning. "Found him. Excuse us." He said and pulled for Klaus to walk away with him, back towards the bar.
Damn though did it feel nice to be close, so he didn't let go right away either. Mmm. "I found you." he said again to the back of Klaus' ear.
no subject
"I said to Let. Me. Go." Bad idea his drunken brain tells him and the absolute fury in this guy's expression isn't helping matters. Klaus is about point five seconds away from throwing a punch of his own when he feels arms circle his middle and tug him back, making his eyes widen with surprise at the sudden motion, until he recognizes Ben's voice. Oh, thank Godβ
The man releases Klaus's wrist, looking a bit chagrined by Ben's far nicer tone of voice. My bad, is all he says then he's finally turning back to his partner, a girl who's been yanking at his arm the entire time, despite the fact she's extraordinarily tiny compared to him. He's breathing hard, glaring and gritting his teeth like an uncaged animal, but Ben's leading him away, and the fact of the matter is he's safe.
"God," he starts, huffing a grateful sigh. "I thought maybe youβ" then he stops again, the warmth of Ben's words drifting across the shell of his ear, his cheeks suddenly heating at just how intimate that'd felt. "Y-Yeah, you found me," Klaus confirms, twisting slightly to put an arm around his brother. "And I found you."
no subject
"Who was that big guy? He makes Luther look small." No, no he doesn't but he is Luther sized if Luther wasn't a big ass monkey. Still, Ben tugged and moved them towards the bar instead, holding on. "Thought I...?" He asked, drawing back a bit as the other turned to put an arm around him.
He smiled at the other, cheeks flushed but not from a blush. His eyes were blown and he was still a bit dancy. Hands moving to loop into the others belt loops, or hook into the waste of his clothing, which ever it was. He couldn't stop moving. "I found you, you mean. That guy was going to hit you, wasn't he?" He said while leaning in so the other could hear him, clearly. Leaning in close to his cheek and almost nuzzling down his jaw to his neck. "Don't get hurt, Klaus."
no subject
Damn, the guy had been way stronger than he looked, could've probably broken him in half like a twig, and yet he hadn't been ready to back down. "Don't worry about it." What he was going to say or the fact he'll have bruises tomorrow morning isn't important.
His arm tightens ever so slightly around Ben's shoulders, fingers gripping the collar of his shirt, the breath catching in his lungs after he realizes Ben's got ahold of his waistband. He swallows thickly, draws himself a bit closer and presses their foreheads together. "He was, yeah. No way, I saw you first," but he doesn't seem all that into arguing, especially once Ben dips closer, starts nuzzling against his cheek and down his jaw to his neck. Had... had he always been this warm?
"I won't," he admits, breathless, his hand other hand reaching to stroke the pad of his thumb across Ben's cheek. "Or I'll try not to, at least?" An acknowledgement that makes him chuckle.
no subject
He didn't pull away though, and instead stayed close, dancing with the other to a slower tune than what was playing. Hands still at his slender hips, holding onto his waistband and nuzzling into the others hand. The thumb across his warm cheek felt good. He turned into the hand and thoughtlessly left a small kiss there, before turning away from it to nudge once again into the others cheek, leaning down into his neck a moment later.
He was much hotter now than he had been before. The warmth felt good to him though, and the contact felt amazing. "I'll protect you, if something happens." He promised Klaus, very serious even though he was smiling. "I can now. I don't have to... to stand and... and to watch. I can now."
no subject
Despite the obvious challenge in Ben's voice, he can tell it won't be difficult to direct his attention away from the fellow they'd (he) run into earlier. Thumbing over his cheek a second time, an absent smile curves his lips, half-lidded eyes watching how the other man nuzzles against his palm. The kiss to his hand surprises him though, if the abrupt gasp he lets out is any indication. He hadn't meant for it to come out; like a slip of the tongue or something he couldn't quite control, which shouldn't be shocking, given his intoxicated state, butβ For a third time, he suddenly finds it hard to breathe, distracts himself by burying his face into Ben's shoulder and squeezing him tight.
He can almost feel the smile at his neck, can't resist chuckling in return while he moves his other arm to join the one he's already got around his brother. "Thank you," Klaus mumbles into his shoulder, gently swaying them back and forth, his hips leading more than his feet at this point.
no subject
He heard the gasp after the kiss, but he wasn't sure what it was for. "You okay?" He had asked softly. Dancing with him, slowly back and forth, arms curled around each other. It felt nice, but he felt antsy as well.
When he gets the thanks he chuckles. "Don't need to thank me. Just not going to let anything bad happen to you anymore." He said, and as if that antsiness wasn't growing apparent, he grinned into the others neck then aggressively hugged and nuzzled into him, pressing a loud kiss into his neck and pulling back, smirking. "Except that. There's nothing you can do about that. Want another drink?" He said, swaying with the other, leaning back to look at him. Sorry Klaus, standing still is growing hard to do.
no subject
Klaus nods his head, maybe a little too quickly, but it's reaffirming, nevertheless. He's not sure why he's so warm right now; this feeling he can't explain has been a continuous thing hanging over his head for the past few minutes they've been dancing. Addressing it might be best, even if his coherency's gone out the window, into the night and who the hell knows where anymore, exceptβ
Except he's afraid Ben will pull away, leave him standing there like some graceless fool who's overstepped a boundary. His worries are eased somewhat when Ben hugs him firmly, nuzzles him again then kisses him right on his neck. It makes him tremble-- a whole, full-bodied shiver he cannot hide whatsoever. "I, uh..." He knows he should lean back, that way he can meet Ben's eyes, although it's hard to do. "We probably shouldn't. Ben, you... are you okay?" Ultimately, the taller male does withdraw, brings both hands up to cup his brother's face so he can look at his eyes, the smile he'd been wearing earlier wavering.
no subject
And he had stayed pretty close, humming to the music a bit, and swaying. He wanted to move. Wanted to let the heat run through him. Coherency had gone long ago, and now it was just Ben and Klaus and no one else around. At least he felt like no one else was around.
Had he meant the kiss? Maybe. maybe not. He did enjoy the feel of it. It wasn't anything serious though, right? Just a kiss on the neck. Better then a bite on the neck. Which he could have done.
instead he felt hands touch his face and he leaned back a bit, surprised but smiling. "Mmm, your hands feel cold." He said, and turned to nose nuzzle one hand, eyes closed. Klaus would have to get his attention again, and when he did, he'd see the others eyes were blown. "I feel fine. Fine, fine, fine, Klaus." He hummed, smiling, still swaying where he stood to the music. "I feel amazing, actually. Bet I've ever felt."
Full of honesty and bright eyed at him. He felt great.
no subject
"Cold?" he inquires, rubbing his thumbs across Ben's cheeks, the left side of his face quirking. "Okay, so that tells me you're warm." Rather than continue standing where someone else might run into them (or what's his nut decides Klaus deserves the beating he was going to give him), he guides them off from the dance floor a ways, doing his best to make sure he doesn't look as worried as he actually is.
It's cute, watching Ben nuzzling into his hands like an affectionate kitten, but he's still too concerned to focus on that just yet. "You feel fine? I'd say you look fine, but your pupils are huge, sweetness. That tells me something is up." He draws them further way, glancing from side-to-side, making certain he's not going to run them into any other people on his way to get closer to the bar.
"Tell me what else you're feeling besides 'fine,' yeah?" He continues leading, eventually sees an open seat nearby and oh-so-gently urges Ben to sit-- and if he won't do that, then he'll encourage him to lean on it, at least.
no subject
He was a nuzzler anyhow. A snuggly person if allowed, though it was next to never allowed. Or at least not something he could get away with. Not in this house hold growing up. When ever he was sick or hurt he wanted to be around someone else, but Dad called it weakness. Now he was just touch starved, especially after 12 years being a ghost.
"What's wrong with huge pupils?" He commented, and seemed to smile when called sweetness. Aww cute. "Nothing is up." He then paused, looking up, then frowned. "Oh, there are some balloons trapped up there. Does that count?" And plop, he was seated.
Seated and no longer moving, he leaned back a bit and frowned. "Just fine. And warm. Oh and I want to dance. Why are we sitting? Mmm, everything tingles." he said, pulling Klaus' hand to his cheek again so he could nuzzle into it once more. Holding it there. "What's wrong, Klaus? Dance with me."
no subject
Wow, this is not the train of thought he'd been expecting his mind to take. Klaus shakes his head, draws one hand back to scrub over his own face, letting it drop against his side afterward. How fucked up can he get, thinking about how his brother looks during a time like this? He doesn't know for sure, can't think about it too long or else he'll get distracted and lose his definite thought.
"Means you're high as a kite, buddy." Nicknames, he has plenty. Klaus watches Ben look up, tipping his head back momentarily as well to note the balloons hovering above them. Huh. Kind of makes him wish he could get up there and take one, although that'd be impossible... wouldn't it? Who knows. "I mean, something is wrong, Ben."
With Ben seated, he slumps down somewhat, resting a hand on the bar behind them so he can lean close, really get a good look at the other's eyes. "We're sitting becauseβ wait, tingles?" Those, plus being warm and all the extra energy Ben seems to have? Shit, it has to be ecstasy then, huh? "W-Wrong? Uhm." Klaus's head tips to the side, his own widened eyes watching the way Ben's taking his hand, urging it back up against his cheek. "Nothing's wrong! I wanna... wanna dance with you, I really do, but maybe... we could dance elsewhere?"
no subject
Nicknames. He loves nicknames. "High? No way." he said with a smile at first but then it turned to a small frown and he tried to whisper, but it couldn't be heard over the drum of the music. He t least realized that and repeated it. "But there's no way I can get high!!" And repeated it a bit loudly. A couple near buy chuckled at that.
He pressed his cheek into Klaus' hand, letting him get a good look at him. Nothing was wrong. Nothing was wrong, good, very good. "Where do you want to go?" He asked, both hands holding Klaus' hand now as he drew back, keeping contact with him.
no subject
"Yes way," he confirms, concern furrowing his own brow yet again when Ben frowns like that. Klaus tilts his head, leaning closer, as if it'd help him understand why the other male is bothered. A bit of a mistake, considering the yelling, although Klaus snorts and withdraws the hand on the bar to clap over his face, successfully muffling his own laugh that comes out. "Swear to you, Ben, you're definitely high."
His fingers tap gently across his brother's cheek, a thoughtful gesture while he ponders how to answer. "Home," Klaus decides, relocating his hand from his own face to Ben's shoulder, giving the slightest squeeze. "We can dance there, okay? I promise." So long as they leave the club, get Ben walking to burn off some energy.
no subject
But he had to give a puff of a laugh, surprised at himself. "I think it was that girl. Oh, whoa. It was her, huh. I told you this was a bad idea." Or was it? Or did he? Not at all. This was all a great idea. This entire night was.
But Home? He frowned more at that, drawing his head back a bit. "Home?" He said flatly. "You can't dance at home." Father wouldn't like it--wait, he's dead. But still, home? You can't dance at home. Which is wrong, because they did it all the time when Luther played his music too loud. "I mean, I guess so? But why there?"
