For Hellseher
Ben was alive and feeling amazing. He had jumped off a building with Klaus's encouragement (Okay so Klaus said NOT to after he did it, but oh well) and ever since Ben had been looking for something else to give him that same kind of rush. Looking to live a little.
Some how that was how they ended up at Club 24, a 24 hour open club, bar, eatery, and what ever the hell else they could cram into the place. It was perfect. Dark with a lot of neon lights on the dance floors, the bar was well places to be off to the side and the music was jumping, giving the night life something fun to dance to.
Ben had never been to a club while alive, and only there when Klaus went, which generally meant the other wasn't all that sober, so enjoying a club? Not really a thing. But now Ben was alive and he could FEEL the bump of the music in his chest. He could understand the need to dance now. He even agreed to drink with Klaus tonight.
Ben had got a simple rum and coke to start the night off, but Klaus poopoo'ed that almost instantly. Not only was a round of shots ordered for them both, but it was a ROW.
"Klaus, I'm not going to be able to get through all this!" he said loud enough to be heard, brows raised and looking over the row curiously. He'd never allowed himself to be drunk before. Was he really going to do it now?

A legitimate vacation. It was needed. Ben let out a huff as he settled on the towel, hearing Klaus go on and on about his fair skin and sun burns. "I hear you whine all the damn time, I think I can handle a bit of whining when you burn. Not that you're going to burn. The sunscreen will stop it, and there is shade under the pier. You could literally walk under that and be safe."
He teased him but he wasn't going to push him. When the drink or food was offered Ben paused to think about it. Ben came in two modes when it came to food. Eat everything possible because he hadn't had food in so damn long that he wanted to try and eat everything he could. Or... simply forget to eat all together because he was still not used to having to feed himself anymore.
He shook his head and instead just asked for "A bottle of water would be fine." he said, hand held out for it, if Klaus grabbed him one. "I like that sarong, by the way. You steal that from Allison?"

Wow, okay, he's already being attacked by this ridiculous heat, he doesn't need Ben's sass as well, thank you. “Well, I guess you're right about the pier... and the sunscreen, of course.” But look at that, his brother's got him actually contemplating it, despite his still blatantly reluctant tone.
The way he playfully sticks his tongue out at Ben is far more relaxed, at least. Lifting his arm up off the cooler, Klaus flips it open, rummages around in the ice and removes a couple water bottles. He puts one in Ben's outstretched hand, closes the lid so he's able to prop his elbow back up, cracks his second procured bottle and takes a long drink.
Whenever Ben mentions the sarong, his attention downcasts, eyebrows raising thoughtfully before he looks back up, the edges of his mouth curving. After swallowing the water, “Thank you, and no, actually, I found this one at a thrift store.”

He took the water bottle and cracked it open, taking a sip then smiling. "Oh, a thrift store find. You always seem to have good luck at those places." He said, remembering the other going into them often enough. Amused by the idea of Klaus shopping alone and asking how something looked. To Ben. But getting confused replies from strangers as well.
He took another sip of his bottle, sitting on his knees on the towel under the shadow. He glanced off to see the others in their group. Everyone was enjoying themselves in one way or another, and he's sure Klaus was as well, but...
"You sure you don't want to come explore the little cave I found?"

He watches Ben sip his water bottle, grins around the mouth of his own and casually shrugs. “Maybe it's my secondary ability or some shit. Wouldn't that be terrific?” Despite how many odd looks he'd gotten at the time, everything had worked out and without fail, he would go home with some awesome thing under his arm. Funny, maybe Ben had been his good luck charm? Because a lot of times, his brother was there.
Once more, the other male tries coaxing him out from underneath the safety of his umbrella. Klaus blinks upward at the canvas, contemplatively tilts his head then sets the chilled plastic bottle against his neck.
Seriously, what harm is really going to come of it, aside from a possible sunburn? Which wouldn't be all that bad; Ben did say he's used to his bitching. “What if I get a crab up my—” a beat, his brow knitting as he spares his sarong a glance then playfully smirks in Ben's direction, “up my sarong? I'm not wearing shorts, so I had to amend.”
