Which is something that'd always pissed Klaus off-- seeing the way Reginald had reacted to Ben's powers after having been able to stomach it as the man'd so eloquently put it. Like, sure, why not make Ben more self-conscious about his powers? Way to go, dear ol' dad! On a whole other note though, he'd be happy to know he's made it clear Ben's important to him.

"Why do people insist that dancing needs to be structured? Haven't you ever heard of a freestyle?" Offhandedly, he wonders how Ben would do with something like a waltz or a foxtrot, briefly considers the idea of learning for himself, but is drawn back to the moment when his brother laughs again.

It's such a treat, getting to see him relax like this. Klaus feels rather lucky once he stops to think about it, and yet he's doing everything in his power to not show the way it makes his cheeks flush somewhat. The fact Ben begins admitting he's right and thanking him won't help matters any, of course.

"After that jump, we needed to do something less adrenaline pumping." And what better way to do so than partying it up at a club? He unwittingly shifts a step closer, inclines his head to hide the blush creeping across his cheeks, his fingers squeezing a second time around Ben's. At least he can claim he's red because of the alcohol and Ben should be none the wiser. "You're welcome. S'long as you stick with me, you'll always have a good time."
