Things were tense around the house. Vanya was learning to control her powers but it was hard. It was hard on everyone. Tense and on edge, Five was the first one to call for a family vacation. Ben had wanted to go to the ocean and it sounded like a good idea. Using Televator technology they made it to a hotel and a beach. An actually family vacation.
Surf boards were rented, as well as blow up floaties, a beach ball and other things for the fun of it were bought. Umbrellas of large size, beach blankets and towels. They gathered it all up. Doing it right.
Five was under one umbrella, a book in hand, shades on, dressed in shorts and a shirt, reclined and reading. Luther and Diego were going to try to our surf each other, while neither of them knew how to do it, they were going to do it anyhow. Vanya, dressed in board shorts and a shirt, was laid out on a towel with Allison, but the difference was, she shared half the shade of Five's umbrella. Allison, in a fetching two piece was laid out fully in the sun, catching some rays. Huge sun glasses on and relaxing, back to the world. It was why Luther jumped up to try surfing in the first place. The view was too good.
Ben kicked the plastic beach ball with a light touch, letting it roll to nearly hit Five, before he laughed, dropping to his towel beside Klaus. He'd found a pair of blue and black board shorts, long and comfortable. No shirt. He had plenty of sun screen on though. The heat felt amazing. The water felt amazing. The SAND was actually amazing. All the sensations mixed made for a great memory for him right now. All the things he couldn't touch before.
"Come on, Klaus. Come swim." He said, dripping and he plopped on the towel and stretched his legs out past the shade of the umbrella Klaus was hiding under. "The water feels great. And we brought sun screen. Come on..."
